Combat Systems Test and Integration Engineer
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Working hands-on with the BYG-1 combat system in lab environments to verify system requirements through integration and test activities.
- Developing test plans and test procedures to verify system requirements.
- Writing clear and concise problem reports detailing system anomaly observations.
- Identifying, investigating, and analyzing system failures to determine root-causes.
- Providing lab support to troubleshoot configuration and system issues, identifying temporary workarounds and long-term solutions.
- Working in an agile development environment with members of development and program management teams.
Qualifications
- Completion of Naval Advanced "C" School in the technical field of experience.
- Degree in an engineering, computer science or math is a plus.
- Technician experience onboard US Navy submarines or extensive hands-on experience with the submarine combat control system.
- Experience with Confluence and Jira is a plus.
