System Test Engineer – Defense

About the role

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team supporting a System Level Test platform in North Reading, MA. You will be responsible for developing and applying custom test systems that are used to verify the performance of complex circuit cards and electronic systems. Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and debugging test software and hardware is required. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate custom test systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless interaction between the software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply custom test systems for verifying the performance of complex circuit cards and electronic systems.
• Design and implement test interfaces systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to hardware and software integration.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless interaction between the software and hardware components of custom test systems.
• Load firmware, set up boards, and configure test systems for thorough validation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C# and C++ programming, including developing and debugging software on Windows platforms.
• Hands-on experience in circuit card testing and hardware debugging.
• Experience designing and implementing test interfaces systems.
• Proficient in using test and measurement tools such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes for hardware troubleshooting.
• Able to load firmware, set up boards, and configure test systems for thorough validation.
• US Citizenship (Required for ITAR compliance).
