Collision Repair/Body Technician - Ira Toyota of Danvers

About the role

Ira Toyota of Danvers is part of fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are seeking a qualified COLLISION REPAIR/BODY TECHNICIAN to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repair and bodywork services using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
• Work in a high-paced flat-rate environment, adhering to strict time and quality standards.
• Ensure all repairs meet I-CAR Gold Repair Facility and Audi/Toyota Certified Collision Center standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair processes and costs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through training and workshops.

Requirements

• Two or more years of related experience as a collision repair technician.
• I-CAR Platinum Certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of electronic measuring and frame machine operation.
• Working knowledge of Mig Welding and Resistance Spot Welding equipment.
• Quality-oriented with a strong desire to produce high-quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic measuring and frame machine operation.
• Knowledge of Mig Welding and Resistance Spot Welding equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and quality control.

Pay

The pay for this position is $21.60 - $40.00/hr. based on experience.
