This position requires the ability to travel regularly, as business needs require, to support university relations, campus recruiting, and college outreach events.

About the Role

This position will assist the high-volume recruitment process by developing, implementing, and maintaining a creative recruiting strategy for the business units to bring in applicants through existing and new sources in order to provide an effective pool of candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and implements the staffing process with hiring managers and applicants while complying with OFCCP regulations.
  • Educates and trains internal and external customers on the staffing process.
  • Works with the Strategic Sourcing group to identify and evaluate qualified candidates to present to hiring managers for review, focusing on the recruitment of all positions.
  • Forms business partnerships with hiring managers and serves as the point of contact for the staffing process.
  • Routes requisitions appropriately (to sourcer or required posting path) for assigned positions.
  • Assists in the development of hiring strategies (e.g., determining whether a position should be outsourced) for filling positions with hiring managers and sourcers.
  • Provides input between hiring managers and sourcers as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with applicants through the staffing process.
  • Conducts candidate interviews with hiring managers and, if necessary, with an employee relations representative.
  • Assists employee relations on recruiting analysis such as turnover ratio.
  • Participates in the onboarding of new hires.
  • Assists with external recruiting events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 2 years of progressively responsible related HR experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Knowledge of immigration process and corporate compliance issues.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
  • Proficient in internet/computer skills.
  • Knowledge of an applicant tracking system is a plus.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Schedule

First shift, full-time position with up to 50% travel required.
