College Work Study Program (Office Assistant- Admissions & Recruitment Office) (Fall 2025)
Job Summary
The Southwest Tennessee Community College Admissions & Recruitment Office is looking for a well-motivated student to fill the Office Assistant role. The Admissions & Recruitment Assistant will gain hands-on experience and provide essential support to both the Admissions & Recruitment offices. The assistant will work closely with staff to provide a professional, welcoming environment for prospective students seeking guidance on beginning their higher education goals.
Job Duties
- Daily Office and Administrative Support
- Campus Tours and Prospective Student Engagement
- Events and Recruitment Operations
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.
- Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Requires regular attendance for the allotted hours per week.
- Dependable, courteous, and possess good communication skills.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
The Admissions & Recruitment Office hosts on and off campus events. There are some instances that work hours would be available outside of normal business hours.
