About the role

Support high schools in the campus service area with K-14 Initiatives, including dual credit and early college initiatives. This position provides academic and student support services to help students earn up to two years of college credit while in high school.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all students follow a specific plan toward completion of dual credit coursework, a Technical Certificate, or an Associate's Degree by tracking student progress.
• Ensure matriculation for students who do not complete a credential while in high school.
• Provide professional level support services to partner high schools, including coordinating and executing resources such as benchmarking/remediation, tutoring/supplemental instruction, high school faculty engagement, parent support, and college/career readiness.
• Track class schedules to ensure students take appropriate coursework leading to an Ivy Tech credential.
• Track student progress and communicate information to high school faculty and staff.
• Meet with students who are not persisting and communicate information to high school faculty and staff.
• Execute strategic initiatives to achieve college-wide and campus-level metrics.
• Recruit on behalf of Ivy Tech, promoting community college benefits to increase inquiries, applicants, and enrollment conversions.
