College Connection Coach

Major Responsibilities

  • Identify high school juniors, seniors, or graduates who are college-bound.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to support college attainment and career exploration.
  • Utilize community resources to support student access and success in college.
  • Develop and convene small group sessions for students throughout the academic year.
  • Enroll students in dual credit courses and input relevant information.
  • Support employer partnerships and provide career workshops.
  • Implement annual orientation and summer workshops for new student participants.
  • Maintain accurate records and collect required information for each student.
  • Develop and deliver required reports.
  • Participate in ongoing tracking of outcomes, evaluation of services, and program development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years related experience in advising, career counseling, recruiting, or other student service-related jobs
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to initiate and balance multiple work projects
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in K-12 or college-level settings
  • Training or teaching experience with young adults

Hiring Range

$35,000 - $45,000 annually based on experience.
