Collector II

About the role

Leading national bank has an immediate need for a Collector II responsible for communicating consistently with the bank's delinquent customer base to discuss and resolve accounts to the department/bank's satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Skip-trace to obtain information to locate customers and/or collateral through low-level investigation, including researching credit reports, Accurint, credit applications and internet sites as warranted.
• Troubleshoot to resolve customer issues.
• Update customer information to maintain viable points of contact with customers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3‑5 years’ experience in collections or a call center environment.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Good typing and PC skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail oriented.

Pay

$21.00 to $24.00 per hour
