Collections Representative

This is an onsite position at our Mason office.

Pay

$16–$22/hour based on experience

Schedule

• Training: 2 weeks training / 4 weeks nesting, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
• Production: after training and nesting, 8 AM–5 PM 4 days a week and 10 AM–7 PM 1 day a week

Responsibilities

• Call consumers to secure payments on past-due student loan accounts
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal collections laws and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Access to high-speed Internet
• FDCPA knowledge preferred
• Professional phone etiquette and solid negotiating skills
• Positive attitude and strong customer service aptitude
• Ability to problem solve and multitask
• Willingness to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time
• Ability to exchange accurate information effectively over the phone
