Genesis Collections is seeking experienced, performance-driven debt collectors who know how to close, negotiate, and resolve accounts professionally and compliantly. Since 2012, Genesis has built a national reputation in the multifamily housing collections space by combining advanced technology, compliance excellence, and a strong performance culture.
About the role
- Managing and recovering delinquent accounts within the multifamily housing sector
- Negotiating payment arrangements and settlements
- Maintaining strict compliance with FDCPA and company policies
- Meeting and exceeding monthly performance goals
- Documenting account activity accurately and thoroughly
- Leveraging technology to maximize account resolution
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of debt collection experience (required)
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection goals
- Professional phone presence and strong communication skills
- Understanding of accounts receivable and financial concepts
- Comfortable working in a structured, in-office environment
- Ability to multitask while maintaining compliance and accuracy
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of prior experience with multifamily residential properties
- Must be able to type 40 wpm
- Must have reliable transportation
- Customer service skills
- Computer knowledge with MS Office and Yardi software for property management
- Knowledge of Fair Housing rules and regulations

Pay
$20.00 – $40.00 per hour (Base + Uncapped Commission with monthly bonus eligibility)
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No nights, no weekends, two paid 15-minute breaks, and a one-hour unpaid lunch)
Work Environment
- In-office position in Everett, WA
- Comfortable working at a desk using phone and computer systems throughout the day (6+ hours)
Physical Demands
- Sitting for long periods of time using a computer and telephone systems, up to 4–8 hours a day, 5 days a week
- Repetitive hand and wrist movement, up to 4–8 hours a day, 5 days a week
