Essential Functions
- Counsels and analyzes to assist in the management of collection operations;
- Compiles and monitors various administrative and statistical data, collections, and financial activities of the department;
- Researches collections, financial and other information;
- Analyzes data and identifies trends;
- Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing operations;
- Affords assistance to the department with programs and procedures related to collections policies;
- Makes recommendations;
- Prepares and generates related reports.
Monitors Revenue Recovery and Collections Activities
- Maintains and monitors accounts receivable;
- Troubleshoots problems and errors;
- Solves order and invoice disputes;
- Works with other County departments to reconcile issues as needed.
Assists in Strategic Planning
- Assists in managing technology and computer systems;
- Reviews and analyzes effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems;
- Develops strategies for improvements;
- Affords assistance in the planning, design, development, and testing of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field;
- One year of experience in call center collections, call center operations or closely related field required;
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
