Collections Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our dynamic Collections team at Snap Finance. This role involves making outbound and inbound calls to customers with past-due accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and helping customers find the best resolution for their delinquency.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and inbound calls to customers with past-due accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and help customers find the best resolution for their delinquency.
• Use strong negotiation, problem-solving, and assertiveness to achieve successful outcomes.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements accurately.
• Deliver a fast, friendly, and flexible customer experience.
• Maintain professionalism and empathy while performing soft collections activities.
• Accurately document customer conversations and account updates in the system.

Requirements

• 6+ months of collections experience preferred (soft or hard collections).
• Advanced English (B2+) in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Schedule flexibility — Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; one Saturday per month required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• High level of assertiveness, confidence, and professionalism.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and meet performance goals.
• Able to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Fast learner with the ability to retain and apply new information effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay

• Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• One Saturday per month required.
