About the role
The University of Colorado Law School’s William A. Wise Law Library seeks a Collection Services and Research Librarian. This is a 12-month, full-time faculty position at the Teaching Faculty (non-tenure track) level, reporting to the Associate Director of Resource Access and Discovery.
Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of all aspects of collection development, including strategic planning and budget analysis.
- Align library resources and formats with the research needs of the CU Law community.
- Teach at least one course annually within the J.D. curriculum.
- Provide specialized research assistance and instruction to faculty, students, staff, and public users.
- Participate in Law Library, College, and University committees.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to relevant library organizations.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited institution.
- Minimum two years of law library experience.
