Collection Representative

Role: Responsible for managing and following up on accounts to maximize cash flow, resolve billing issues, and minimize bad debt. Key Duties: Contact patients, insurers, and agencies to expedite payments, handle inquiries and complaints, interpret billing and insurance information, document account actions, and reconcile account records. Maintain effective relationships with internal teams, vendors, and collection agencies, and monitor billing trends. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma, typically 2 years of experience in insurance processing, collections, or customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to analyze information quickly, and knowledge of medical billing processes. Physical & Work Environment: Primarily sedentary work in an office setting, with occasional lifting. Fully remote, with standard office equipment.
