Colleague Health Manager RN

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and oversight for the daily operations of Colleague Health Services.
• Administers and coordinates health promotion programs and illness/injury prevention programs to prevent occupational injury and health problems.
• Programs include: universal vaccination, respiratory protection, tuberculosis surveillance, blood borne pathogens, hearing conservation and environmental safety.
• Develops, improves and coordinates procedures for pre-employment examinations.
• Maintains the timely medical clearance for all new colleagues.
• Promotes partnerships with diverse teams and leaders across the organization on system-wide programs and initiatives.
• Maintains and audits health records and documentation to ensure compliance based on OSHA Standards, CDC Guidelines, and applicable federal/state guidance for healthcare workers.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years nursing experience, Prior experience in a supervisory role, Prior supervisory experience in Occupational Health.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of OSHA regulations, CDC guidelines, infectious disease and worker safety program requirements for a healthcare setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure: CT RN License.
