About the role

Fidelity Investments seeks a dedicated Cold Cook / Garde Manger to join their team in Boston, MA. You will be responsible for developing and executing flawless cold dishes, including salads, charcuterie, and appetizers, ensuring each meal period meets the highest fine-dining standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate cold dishes such as salads, charcuterie, and appetizers with precision and speed.
• Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and Expediter to maintain the quality and presentation of dishes.
• Adapt to a fast-paced hospitality setting and work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Handle confidential guest information with discretion and sensitivity.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary arts or equivalent professional training preferred.
• Proven cold line experience in fine dining, hotel, or upscale high-capacity settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cold plating, emulsified sauces, and vinaigrette preparation.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of cold food production processes.
• Outstanding knife skills and familiarity with classic cuts.
• High level of discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential guest information.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $44,000-80,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Schedule

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model requires 100% onsite presence for some roles and locations, while others may require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
