Coil Winder - 2nd Shift - Power Systems Division

Essential Functions

• Assembly
• Rotor transfer
• Moving barrels of wire
• Wire alignment
• Testing
• Blocking
• Grinding/feeding the cables
• Rotate between primary job tasks or assist with job tasks as needed
• Understand and apply ITW operating principles to the manufacturing area
• Train others

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Self-starter and team player
• Quality conscious with concern for customer needs and on-time delivery
• Committed to teamwork and team goals with a positive attitude
• Personally accountable
• Cross-training in all areas of manufacturing required
• Willing to work flexible shifts during peak production times
• Willing to work overtime as required (12 hrs/day and/or Saturdays/Sundays)

Physical Requirements

• Occasional push or pull of 30-100 lbs
• Occasional lift or carry of 10-50 lbs
• Frequently required to use both hands to load wire into stators
• Constant standing and hand manipulation
• Occasional reaching, walking, and neck flexion
• Able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
