About the role

The Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist II is responsible for evaluation and treatment of Home Community Re-entry (HCR) patients in the clinic and community setting, delivery of cognitive therapy sessions, clinical case management, coordination of the rehabilitation plan, and discharge planning. Primary responsibilities also include: mentorship, supervision of students, and advanced knowledge of the acquisition, application, adaptation, generalization, and maintenance of cognitive skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of Home Community Re-entry (HCR) patients in the clinic and community setting
• Delivery of cognitive therapy sessions
• Clinical case management
• Coordination of the rehabilitation plan
• Discharge planning
• Mentorship, supervision of students
• Advanced knowledge of the acquisition, application, adaptation, generalization, and maintenance of cognitive skills

Requirements

• Master’s degree in allied health field OR PA state licensure/certification in allied health field
• 7 years of current clinical practice required
• CPR/BLS through AHA required
• ACBIS required after 1 year

• Experience: 7 years of current clinical practice required
