About the role

The ideal candidate will see patients with memory disorders, dementia, and other cognitive problems. The position provides the opportunity to further expand the Memory Disorders Program to reach the needs of our growing patient base. Physicians will foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• See patients with memory disorders, dementia, and other cognitive problems
• Foster the teaching of residents and medical students
• Participate in clinical research trials and translational research
• Direct access to Renown Neurology’s PhD Neuropsychologist and Psychometrist
• Opportunity to participate in the Renown Neurocognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Health Program

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Cognitive Neurologist
• Outpatient schedule Monday – Friday 8a to 5p; 4/10 or 3/12 schedule options are available
• Participate in clinical research trials and translational research
• Direct access to Renown Neurology’s PhD Neuropsychologist and Psychometrist
• Opportunity to participate in the Renown Neurocognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Health Program

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current Medical License in good standing
• Experience in cognitive neurology preferred
