Cogeneration Systems Facility Planner
About the role
The Facility Planner works closely with the Cogeneration Systems Maintenance Superintendent to plan and schedule all mechanical maintenance and repairs, annual equipment system outages, emergency outages, preventive and predictive maintenance for the entire mechanical maintenance group. This position develops the scope of work and schedules for major repairs and outages at all facilities. Annual outages can be very complex and are required to be completed in a short duration to maintain system reliability. These outages can exceed $1,000,000 in multiple contracts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule mechanical maintenance and repairs
- Coordinate annual equipment system outages and emergency outages
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance for the mechanical maintenance group
- Develop scope of work and schedules for major repairs and outages
- Plan, track, and provide updates for all groups involved
- Work with the Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent and Engineering staff to obtain resources for construction, maintenance, and repair of boilers, balance of plant, and boiler auxiliary equipment and systems
- Act as a project manager for small informal projects and monitor work progress in the field
- Request purchase orders with appropriate justifications for approval by the Maintenance Superintendent
Skills
- Expert level abilities in advanced scheduling software
- Proficiency in the Maximo work management system
Sign-On Bonus
A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available for the successful applicant of this position, paid in 2 installments within twelve (12) months of hire: $3,750 within 30 days of hire date and $3,750 12 months after hire date.
