Code Enforcement Officer
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for identifying, documenting, and enforcing city ordinances related to public nuisances, zoning, parking, property maintenance, and related infractions. The position operates independently in the field and coordinates with deputies when enforcement situations escalate beyond the scope of civil or infraction-level authority.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or GED; AND one year of experience involving law enforcement, code enforcement, municipal government experience, or a closely related field.
