Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Code Enforcement
- Registered Code Enforcement Officer (RCEO) with the State of Texas required
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and investigate complaints to enforce municipal codes related to property maintenance, zoning, signage, environmental concerns, and abandoned/junk vehicles
- Issue notices of violation, citations, and stop-work orders; clearly communicate corrective actions to property owners, contractors, and the public
- Document case evidence with photographs, inspection notes, and reports; maintain accurate case files in Vertex
- Prepare and present cases for Municipal Court or administrative hearings, providing testimony as required
- Prepare and submit weekly timesheet reports to the supervisor in accordance with company procedures
Pay
$30 – $40 per hour, based on experience and certifications
Schedule
Part-Time, On-Call — Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on client needs
