Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Code Enforcement
- Registered Code Enforcement Officer (RCEO) with the State of Texas required
Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and investigate complaints to enforce municipal codes related to property maintenance, zoning, signage, environmental concerns, and abandoned/junk vehicles
- Issue notices of violation, citations, and stop-work orders; clearly communicate corrective actions to property owners, contractors, and the public
- Document case evidence with photographs, inspection notes, and reports; maintain accurate case files in VertexPlans
- Prepare and present cases and provide testimony as required
- Prepare and submit weekly timesheet reports to the supervisor in accordance with company procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- $30 – $40 per hour
- Part-Time — Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on client needs
- 401(k) with 100% company match up to 5%, available after 90 days
