About the Role

As a Model Cocktail Server at Zouk, you will be responsible for beverage service of all VIP tables and seating areas in a high-volume restaurant, bar, lounge, or pool environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, serve, interact, and entertain guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, concerns, and complaints regarding beverages, and resolve them in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Anticipate guest needs and inform them about venues, menus, specials, pricing, and directions.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of portion control and product identification.
  • Be knowledgeable about food, beverages, and other company functions and services.
  • Recognize and cultivate regular guests to build repeat business.
  • Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout the shift.
  • Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of all beverages to appropriate tables and assigned work areas.
  • Comply with all safety and health department procedures and state and federal liquor laws.
  • Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns, and advertising; perform model/presenter tasks.
  • Assist in the development of promotional plans to increase business levels and sales.
  • Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from the venue.
  • Participate and appear in marketing, publicity, or media materials.
  • Maintain social platforms as indicated by management; post events, communications, and participate in marketing campaigns via social media.
  • Submit guests to the venue’s guest list, handle table reservations, and focus on developing a personal clientele list.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use a personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, duties, and review of company documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of POS systems (e.g., Micros, UrVenue).
  • Experience with safe alcohol service, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails.
  • Previous experience working in a dayclub, nightclub, or large luxury resort setting.
  • Previous experience modeling and beverage presentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Required licenses: Food Handler Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, Nevada Gaming Registration.

Physical Demands

  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 15 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS), and other instructions.

  • Everyone works in Guest Experience: Assist guests with a smile. If a guest needs more help than you can provide, notify the appropriate department or individual.
