Cocktail Server-$6.69/hr. + tips (Sternewirth at Hotel Emma)

Responsibilities

• Receive and take guest orders and process them in a timely manner through the restaurant’s systems.
• Serve food and beverages to guests and refill drinks as needed.
• Perform sidework, opening, and closing duties as specified.
• Operate the point-of-sale system.
• Clean tables, straighten chairs, and keep the floor free of debris.
• Clean the service area and replenish supplies as needed.
• Bus and set tables.
• Assist in Room Service when necessary.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with support crew and management.
• Provide guests with hotel information, including details about restaurants, shops, on-property locations, and current or upcoming events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of restaurant experience.
• Experience in a high-volume environment.
• Good food and service knowledge.
• Basic POS system knowledge.
• Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills.

Schedule

Flexible schedule required, including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
