Cobot Welder

About the role

Set up, operate, and monitor cobots specifically designed for welding tasks. This includes setting up the Cobot, programming its welding path, inspecting weld quality, performing minor adjustments, moving and placing parts into fixtures, removing parts after welding, visually inspecting welds for quality, identifying and reporting defects, and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and monitor cobots specifically designed for welding tasks.
• Set up and manage torches and safe operating parameters.
• Program using the Cobot interface to create weld paths and sequences based on blueprints of the fixtures.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Contribute to a team effort.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must have a strong understanding of welding processes and procedures, as well as experience with cobots and related equipment. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications. Must have excellent visual inspection skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience in welding or related field preferred. Experience with cobots and related equipment is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

Strong knowledge of welding processes and procedures. Proficiency with cobots and related equipment. Excellent visual inspection skills and attention to detail. Ability to work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Team player with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Pay

Salary range: $XX - $YY per hour. Exact pay will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
