About the role

Join a dynamic team at Crafco, a leading manufacturer of coatings and adhesives. We are seeking a Coatings Chemist to contribute to our innovative product development and quality assurance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize coating formulations to meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct laboratory tests to evaluate the performance of new and existing coatings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Document experiments and results in a clear and organized manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in coatings formulation and testing.
• Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and rheology.
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as mixers, extruders, and spectrometers.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of coating formulation techniques.
• Experience with quality control and assurance processes.
• Basic understanding of environmental regulations.

Pay
