Coating Operator - Aerospace (3rd Shift) 10pm to 6:30am)

About the role

This position operates automatic and manual coating furnace equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including powder mixers, powder sifters, grit blast machines, coating furnaces, and coating control panels.
• Pack parts into tooling and fill with coating powders.
• Load and unload parts, and start/end coating runs in the coating furnace.
• Unload parts from tooling and demask masked parts.
• Work in other departments as needed to maintain production flow and meet customer commitments, at the discretion of the Shift Supervisor (Lead).

Requirements

• Ability to work in environments with varying temperature, noise levels, and other factors that may affect working conditions.
• Physical demands include standing, bending, sitting, lifting (ability to lift 50 lbs), and forklift driving.
• Experience with coating furnace operations.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience involving similar equipment, processes, tools, and machining operations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Aerospace industry experience.
