About the role

The Coat Check position will protectively interact with guests to provide information and assistance, ensuring an enjoyable experience at MGM Music Hall Fenway.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource of information for guests regarding their experience in the music area.
• Provide assistance to guests and members regarding the timing of supporting acts and headliner acts.
• Communicate effectively with other positions to enhance guest and member experience.
• Balance tickets issued to revenue.
• Adapt vocabulary and socialize with the current audience.
• Maintain exemplary and professional grooming standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs.
• Adhere to MGM Music Hall’s dress code policy.
• Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibility.
• Safeguard against theft and property damage.
• Attend pre-shift meetings conducted by the Manager on Duty prior to the start of each shift.

Requirements

• Ability to work late hours.
• Flexible schedule.
• Cash handling experience.
• 1-year work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual.
• Experience in a live music environment.

Physical Demands

• Working environment is fast-paced, often loud, and stressful.
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet both indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.

Pay

The expected compensation for this position is $16.00 USD - $20.00 USD hourly, based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
