Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and design of coastal restoration projects including marsh restoration and beach nourishment;
  • shoreline protection projects including revetments and breakwaters;
  • navigation projects including dredging, marinas, and harbors.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Familiarity with wave growth and transformation, coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics, littoral processes, sediment transport, marine dredging, and basic geotechnical or structural systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field;
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software;
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task.
