Coach - Varsity Boys Basketball Assistant Coach #24514

About the role

The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of coaching the Varsity Boys Basketball team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game planning and strategy development
• Work closely with the Head Coach to implement team practices and drills
• Attend games and tournaments to provide support and guidance
• Participate in team meetings and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Florida Educator's Certificate in any subject*
• First aid training concepts, injury prevention, CPR
• Willingness to devote time before and after school hours
• *Cheerleading coaches of non-competitive teams are not Required to hold a Florida Educator's Certificate.
• Must have Hernando County School District required 20 hour Sports First Aid course offered through Human Kinetics. Please Follow (or paste in browser) link below:
