Responsibilities
- Help Coaches build relationships with young people and develop action plans.
- Monitor and utilize Care 4 platform data to track young people's progress.
- Support Coaches in academic and career development goal-setting.
- Navigate DOE and other systems as needed.
- Prevent and de-escalate crises as they arise.
- Mentor and guide Coaches in using Motivational Interviewing techniques.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions to assess progress and address concerns.
- Facilitate team meetings and share best practices with Coaches.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and system providers.
- Facilitate therapeutic peer groups and coordinate outreach efforts.
- Ensure administrative and financial procedures are in place.
- Monitor and manage goal entry and closure for Coaches.
Qualifications
- MSW degree with at least three years of experience working with at-risk or system-involved youth.
- Supervisory experience and experience as a Coach is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to build partnerships with outside community agencies.
- Experience or openness to interpreting data for decision-making.
- Experience or openness to implementing evidence-based practices.
- Ability to use Motivational Interviewing techniques.
- Ability to use trauma-informed techniques.
- Ability to facilitate therapeutic groups.
