Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A Florida Educator's Certificate in any subject*
• First Aid training concepts, injury prevention, CPR
• A willingness to devote time before and after school hours
• Completion of Hernando County School District required 20-hour Sports First Aid course offered through Human Kinetics
• *Cheerleading coach of non-competitive teams are not required to hold a Florida Educator's Certificate

Salary

Paid in accordance with the Differentiated Pay for Additional Duty/Supplemental Salary Schedule in the Hernando County Teacher's Association (HCTA) Contract.
