Minimum Requirements
- NFHS Cheer/Dance Rules Course and Exam
- AIA Cheer/Dance Course (see Interscholastics Department for more information)
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certificate (at employee's expense)
- Concussion in Sports Course
- ATC Student-Athlete Health & Wellness certificate (must review PowerPoint and sign a document affirming PowerPoint has been reviewed)
- Act on Facts Suicide Prevention Training OR NFHS Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention certificate
- Current CPR w/AED (EMT license supersedes this requirement)
- Current First Aid (EMT license supersedes this requirement)
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Requirements
- Prior To Start Date: Bloodborne pathogen training by TUSD Risk Management Department
Qualifications
Reflect actions, behavior, and interactions with student athletes as reflective of the classroom environment.
Skills
Patience, tolerance, and diplomacy in relations with players, parents, co-workers, contest officials, and spectators.
Benefits
Stipend to be prorated for days missed in the sports season due to late starts or early terminations.
Pay
Temporary position not eligible for district benefits.
