Coach (Head), Boys Soccer, Middle School

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and execution of daily practice plans and training sessions.
• Support event coaching, addressing the unique needs of each athlete.
• Lead warm-ups, drills, and conditioning sessions.
• Foster a positive and supportive team culture.
• Prepare for meets, managing logistics and coaching during competitions.
• Provide feedback and evaluations to enhance athlete performance.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach and other coaching staff for program success and growth.
• Maintain a focus on the academic and athletic goals of student-athletes.
• Attend team meetings and communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience in soccer (preferred but not required).
• A strong passion for developing athletes and promoting teamwork.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate and encourage student-athletes.
• Maintain certification with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).

Position Details

• Start Date: September 2026
• Season Length: September - October 2026
• Compensation: $1,440
• Hours: Practices typically after school hours, with additional time for meets and events.
