Co-Op, Supply Chain

About the Role

A supply chain internship focused on Purchasing, Planning, and Stockroom duties. This role provides hands-on experience in operational and tactical aspects of supply chain functions, including administrative support, project management, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Supply Chain department under minimal supervision.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as work order generation, critical order tracking, router updates, weekly WIP quantity verification, purchase order filing, raw material availability verification, PO follow-up, and invoice/receipt reconciliation.
• Support inventory integrity through cycle counts, materials identification, organization, and logistics activities.
• Occasionally lift packages up to 35 lbs as part of familiarization with shipping and warehousing activities.
• Facilitate 1-2 process improvement projects (e.g., reducing task duration, digitizing workflows) after 3 months.
• Lead Supply Chain New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and stakeholder engagement, tracking projects from design to completion.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Self-starter with a high level of integrity and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Must be reliable, flexible, and punctual.
• U.S. Person or ability to obtain export authorization.
• Availability to work 30+ hours per week during the internship period.

Expectations

• Within 3 months: Understand key supply chain activities, organizational stakeholders, and processes as outlined in primary duties.
• After 3 months: Lead process improvement projects and manage Supply Chain NPI processes from design to completion.
