About the role
This co-op internship provides firsthand experience working directly with purchasing, marketing, HR, and other administrative teams. You will analyze supplier and spend data, communicate with suppliers, and support projects such as writing new processes. The role also includes assisting in marketing, advertising, and promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, and web), managing and updating company databases, helping organize events, operating basic office equipment, and converting paper files to scanned documents.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with purchasing, marketing, HR, and other administrative teams
- Analyze supplier and spend data
- Communicate with suppliers
- Support various projects, including writing new processes
- Assist in marketing, advertising, and promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, web)
- Manage and update company databases
- Help organize events
- Operate basic office equipment (copier, scanner, shredder, etc.)
- Convert paper files to scanned documents
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in high school
- Administrative experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Intermediate skill level using Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
