Co-op Engineering - Fall 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Receive a project description during onboarding.
• Participate in projects such as defining and documenting process parameters, supporting design efforts for product development, and quantifying and leading actions needed for scrap reduction.
• Be responsible, work independently, and be open to instruction.
• Gain developmental opportunities through tasks like projects, job rotation, hands-on training, and exposure to Schaeffler’s manufacturing and technological processes.
• Understand and contribute to achieving quality objectives based on the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing an academic degree.
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
• Assertive in problem-solving.
• The ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods and lift up to thirty pounds.
