Co-Op, Delivery - Projects

About the role

January – August 2027 Full-time Co-op Internships within Lifecycle Services (LCS) provide unique opportunities to develop your engineering, analytical, and customer-centric skills. As a Delivery – Projects Co-Op, you will support Rockwell Automation technology delivery operations from design to startup as part of large and medium-scale automation projects for customers.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct electrical and/or P&ID drawings
• Assure project work meets customer specifications by testing network configurations, HMI screens, and electrical connectivity of devices
• Help create training material for customers to satisfy project delivery requirements
• Learn project delivery and management software and procedures used to manage large-scale projects
• Learn industrial automation project delivery methods and concepts

Requirements

• Active enrollment in a four-year or advanced degree program at an accredited university
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Rockwell Automation will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future)
• Availability for 40 hours a week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Co-op term: Mid-January – Mid-August

Qualifications

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (preferred)
• Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to approach challenges with innovative solutions
• Proven experience collaborating with and leading others to achieve project goals, prioritizing competing tasks, and presenting complex information to diverse audiences
• Experience with industrial automation, electrical wiring, or P&ID drawings (preferred)
• Prior internship with Rockwell Automation or interaction through an event (preferred)
