About the Role

As a Network Specialist, you’ll play a key role as part of the clinical operations team, providing direct patient care and assessments primarily in ambulatory health care centers, and occasionally in acute care, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), or home settings, depending on the assignment.

You are a licensed/Board Certified/Board Eligible professional in a specialty such as urology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, pain management, dermatology, or wound care. Responsibilities

• Conduct geriatric assessments, medical history reviews, physical exams, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Develop plans of care, provide health education, and manage case management referrals and follow-ups.
• Document patient care according to ChenMed standards for quality, service, productivity, and teamwork.
• Participate in conferences and maintain in-depth documentation through progress notes and summaries.
• Review basic medical history and inquire about current symptoms during patient visits.
• Log patient visits, maintain records, and conduct exams/tests to diagnose conditions related to your specialty.
• Analyze lab results and symptoms to arrive at conclusive diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
• Explain treatment recommendations to patients (and caretakers, if applicable) and provide clinical advice for daily and long-term disease management.
• Recommend lifestyle changes (diet, hygiene, exercise) to positively influence health conditions.
• Monitor treatment progress, follow up with patients, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with primary care providers (PCPs) and other specialists to ensure total patient well-being.
• Advise on surgeries or outside therapies when necessary.
• Write and renew prescriptions for medications.
• Stay updated on advancements in your specialty and provide training to center personnel as needed.
• Attend center meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited school and licensed to practice in the state.
• Board certification in specialty preferred.
• Current DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration.
• Minimum two (2) years of direct work or intern experience.
• Hospital privileges may be required in some cases.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the market up to 75% of the time; occasional travel to other local markets may be required.
• Spoken and written fluency in English.

Skills

• Rigorous medical training and broad knowledge of conditions related to your specialty.
• Ability to operate specialty-related equipment (e.g., ultrasound, EKG).
• Professional bedside manner with the ability to explain medical conditions clearly and without jargon.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with other caregivers, including PCPs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and ability to learn internal systems (e.g., Dashboard, MyNotes).

Pay

The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position: $106.30 - $151.88 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for bonuses or commissions.
