About the Role

Join a high-visibility Cyber Network Operations (CNO) program focused on Vulnerability Research (VR), Reverse Engineering (RE), and rapid prototyping in a hands-on R&D environment. You'll work in small, highly technical teams developing new tools and techniques, researching vulnerabilities, and solving challenging mission requirements. Opportunities are available for both experienced CNO engineers with zero-day research experience and engineers looking to grow their skills in VR/RE.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vulnerability research and reverse engineering on a variety of platforms and systems.
  • Develop and prototype CNO tools and techniques.
  • Perform program analysis, debugging, and software analysis.
  • Work closely with technical teams and customers to address mission requirements.
  • Research operating systems, software, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

  • C, C++, or Python
  • Reverse engineering and program analysis
  • Debugging and analysis tools
  • x86/x64 Assembly
  • Windows and/or Linux internals
  • Vulnerability Research and/or Exploit Development experience

Additional Skills

  • Linux/Or Windows
  • Mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
  • Operating system internals
  • Rapid prototyping and R&D experience

Qualifications

  • Understanding of OS Internals (any major OS)
  • Experience with Vulnerability Research
  • Experience reading or writing assembly (x86, x64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, SPARC, 68k, or others)
  • Experience developing embedded systems
  • Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stacks, wire-level protocols, RF communications, BGP, routing protocols, or others)
  • Understanding of exploit mitigations such as DEP and ASLR
  • Experience using reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, HexRays, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or objdump
  • Experience using debuggers such as gdb, WinDbg, OllyDbg
  • Experience with BDI/JTAG
  • Experience with modern C++ development, such as RAII, C++11 and C++14
  • Experience building and using tools to find, exploit, and productize vulnerabilities in complex software systems

Clearance & Location

U.S. Citizenship required. Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. Work performed at Prime and Customer sites.

Pay

Annual Salary: $200,000 - $265,000 USD
