CNO Analyst/Programmer 2
About the role
Provides custom software design and development of CNO tools and techniques. Designs and develops end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools developed. Provides/authors documentation, participates in design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with the Government's software development procedures and processes. Multiple location opportunities including: Annapolis Junction, MD, Aurora, CO, Cary, NC, San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities
- Develops Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open source build environments.
- Provide/author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the Government's software development procedures and processes.
- Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools developed.
- Provide/author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects.
Requirements
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
- Capabilties: Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open source build environments.
- Required Technical Skills: Programs in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python. Programming with CNO Tools and techniques. Using network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs, expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols. Software development in one (1) or more of the following: Windows application using Visual Studio or.NET environments OR Unix/Linux applications using make files or comparable build environments.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience required with a masters degree
- 4 years of experience required with a bachelors degree
- 8 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering)
Skills
Required technical skills include programs in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python. Programming with CNO Tools and techniques. $81.41 - $110.25 an hour
