In addition, this unique opportunity will also offer responsibilities with installation, repair, and maintenance of CNG equipment in a growth-oriented environment. This position will support our Pico Natural Gas Solutions in Kermit, TX. Duties/Responsibilities Travels to customers' homes or place of businessPrep, stage, install and repair pressure reducing systems (PRS) for current and new customersSuggests areas where equipment should be set upTroubleshoots problems with existing equipmentTests old and new installation along with testing connectionsProvides customers with verbal and written operating instructions for new equipmentMaintains equipment and cleans up after the job is completeRecords and maintains stock levelsMaintains the work vehicle and general maintenance of the vehicle The absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Proven work experience as a CNG Service Technician highly preferredAdvanced knowledge of CNG systemsAbility to obtain TXRRC service and installation certificationAbility to solve problems and repair equipment on siteAbility to effectively and efficiently use navigation tools such as GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical mapsAbility to maintain accurate logs and recordsAbility to carry out a series of instructions with limited supervisionKnowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsWillingness to learn, grow, and uphold a customer focused culture that continually strives to exceed expectationsSupport growth and retention efforts Education, Certification, Licenses Required High school diploma or equivalent requireAbility to effectively and efficiently use navigation tools such as GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical mapsAbility to maintain accurate driving and service logs and recordsAbility to carry out a series of instructions with limited supervisionMust have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Physical, Mental, And Behavioral Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to heavy weights of 10 to 100 lbs. for approximately 90% of the work shift.
