CNC TURNMILL SETUP OPERATOR

About the role

Reliable Equipment Manufacturing Co. is currently looking for a full-time CNC Set-Up Machinist to aid our growing production needs. We serve our parent company Reliable Equipment, which provides the global electrical utility industry with tools and consumable components. We proudly manufacture and assemble our tools in the United States, ensuring we provide the safest and best product in the Utility Line Industry, to keep the power on in homes and businesses nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups and run production on DMG MORI, NAKAMURA TOME, and MAZAK machines
• Edit and update programs for jobs as required
• Fill bar loaders for turning centers, lifting 40 lbs
• Prepare parts for inspections and/or following operations as required
• Understand proper use of inspection equipment and validate conforming parts
• Maintain machine and workspace: fill coolant and way oil, remove chips and debris from work area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in machining

Requirements

• Safety-sensitive position
• Must successfully pass a background check including criminal history and drug testing
