CNC Mill SETUP OPERATOR

About the role

Reliable Equipment Manufacturing Co. is looking for a full-time CNC Set-Up Machinist to support growing production needs. The company serves its parent Reliable Equipment, which supplies the global electrical utility industry with tools and consumable components. Tools are manufactured and assembled in the United States to provide the safest and best products for the Utility Line Industry, helping keep power on nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups and run production on Haas, Hitachi, and Robodrill CNC machines
• Edit and update programs for jobs as required
• Deburr and prepare parts for inspection and/or following operations
• Understand proper use of inspection equipment and validate conforming parts
• Maintain machine and workspace: fill coolant and way oil, remove chips and debris
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of machining experience preferred
• Horizontal machining experience is a plus
