CNC Turning Operator 2nd shift

About the role

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is currently hiring a CNC Turning / Milling Operator for our second shift. Starting pay range of $26.00 to $30.00/hour plus $2.00/hour shift differential. At Regal Rexnord, our people make all the difference in our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up to operate CNC Lathe and Milling machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
• Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
• Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
• Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
• Move completed material to the next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
• Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
