CNC Operator 2nd shift

About the role
We're looking for a CNC Operator to join our Blade Manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines used to manufacture critical aerospace components. Your work will directly support aviation safety and reliability by producing components used throughout the global aviation industry.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines
- Load and edit machine programs as needed
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials
- Produce parts to engineering and production specifications
- Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools
- Perform minor part modifications and finishing work
- Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements
- Utilize computerized production tracking systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred
- Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Schedule
Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends). Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM.
Pay
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. This role includes:
- Shift differential: $1-$3/hour based on assigned workdays
- Sign-on bonus: $1,000
- Eligibility for quarterly and annual bonuses, depending on role and site
- Overtime pay for non-exempt employees in accordance with applicable laws
