Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines to produce precision components
- Interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling requirements
- Select, secure, and position workpieces using appropriate fixtures and setups
- Adjust tooling, offsets, and tool compensation to maintain part quality
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Monitor machine operations and verify conformance of finished parts
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate maintenance or repair needs
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality output
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience operating CNC mills or lathes (set-up and programming/editing experience preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and plan ahead
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
