Who we are looking for

• We are seeking CNC Setup/Operators to perform machine setups and operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate parts that meet customer specifications.
• In this role, you will be responsible for setting up 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills or lathes, running production and non-production jobs, and supporting quality and process standards on the shop floor.
• We are currently hiring for both shifts.

What you will get to do

• Perform complete setups on 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills or CNC lathes to machine parts that meet customer specifications
• Verify machine readiness and safely operate vertical and horizontal machining centers following setup completion
• Perform inspection per Process Routing Documents and accurately document results to ensure part conformance
• Troubleshoot machining or quality issues in coordination with supervisors and quality personnel
• Complete production reports and associated documentation
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform manual deburring operations as needed
• Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and safety standards
• Safeguard company, customer, and supplier property

Qualifications

• 2-5 years CNC experience with 1+ years of appropriate setup experience.
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficient with machining operations like, drilling, milling and tapping
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines
• Demonstrates inspection competence.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
• Has both mechanical and technical capacity
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required
