CNC Setup Operator

About the role

We are currently hiring for an experienced CNC Setup Operator for a stable, well-established manufacturing company that produces high-precision industrial components used in energy, environmental, and heavy equipment applications. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes and turning centers
• Machine precision mechanical components with close tolerances
• Perform complex machine setups and adjustments
• Read blueprints and follow machining specifications
• Use micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Maintain quality and production standards
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Work independently with limited supervision
• Absorb and assist other machinists when needed

Requirements

• 3+ years machining experience
• Experience with manual and CNC machines
• Mechanical / machine shop experience required
• Setup experience required (not operator only)
• Stable work history required
• High School Diploma or GED required
